Pandora (we call her Amora) is a keur elite Dutch Warmblood mare. She is a star among stars for sure and we're blessed to have her in our lives.
The Keur predicate is an award for outstanding conformation and gaits, in combination with producing a very good quality foal. Elite is a predicate for the best Keur mares, who have also shown excellent X-rays all-around. A Keur Elite mare is the ultimate quality mare you can use for breeding.
This gorgeous mare by Goodtimes won all the foal shows that she was
presented at and was selected for the National Foal Championships in the
Netherlands! As a 3-year old she did well at the mare performance testing (IMare Test), and showed talent for both dressage and jumping. Amora effortlessly received the Ster and later Keur as well as Elite predicates at the KPWN inspections in the Netherlands.
Goodtimes’ sire is the famous Nimmerdor (Pref). Nimmerdor and Goodtimes’ grandsire Caletto I both jumped internationally at the highest levels and are first class stallions. Goodtimes became Champion in his stallion Test at the age of 3. He also sired various Champion foals and mares and was the top sire of UTV mares (National Championship for Dutch Warmbloods). He has already sired at least 4 approved stallions, His son Lucky Times became Champion of the Pavo-Cup at the age of 4 and again at age 5. The offspring of Goodtimes jump nationally as well as internationally at top levels. Goodtimes is an all-round breeding stallion. He sires top horses for dressage, and jumping. He is listed in the USDF Dressage Sires since he is producing Horse of the Year offspring! This fabulous stallion produces offspring with good movement, lots of carrying power from behind, good jump and nice color. Goodtimes is one of the most bred stallions in Holland and also for frozen semen. He is a very successful stallion, as can also be seen in the beautiful mare Amora.
Amora’s dam is the wellknown Golda, a Keur Preferent mare by Naturel (Keur). Golda has produced Keur mares in combination with the stallions Goodtimes, Haarlem, and Furore. All her offspring always rank high at inspections. Golda has a great “mare test” report herself too, showing talent not only in hand but also under saddle.
Golda’s mother is Wolga, another Keur Preferent mare. She was sired by Purioso (Keur). Wolga produced many foals. She did well under saddle too and scored high at the IBOP (Mare Talent Test) testing. She has been featured in newspapers for her excellence.
Amora has had beautiful foals and she proved herself yet again in her filly born in 2010. Flamenca de Sir (by Sir Sinclair) received a 1st premium from the judges at her foal keuring and went on to win multiple ribbons at VADA/NOVA in 2011. We were so thrilled with the matchup with Sir Sinclair that Amora has been bred back to Sir again for a 2012 foal. You can read more about Flamenca by clicking the link to her page above.
